Obtaining Pre-Authorization / Pre-Certification can be an extremely time-consuming process and is ultimately an extremely important part of successfully collecting from insurance companies.

Pre-Authorization for Pain Management Procedures
- On the initial visit, the office will send us a form with the patient's insurance information and we will call the insurance to check eligibility and find out whether authorization is required as per their plan
- If procedures are required, the provider's office staff will fax us the Pain Management Authorization form and we will obtain authorization for procedures as necessitated.
- Any information that is required by the insurance company will be requested from the office staff, i.e. MRI Report, Medical Records, etc. and subsequently forwarded to the insurance company
- In the case of worker's compensation and no-fault claims, we will follow the requirements as per the plan and ensure that the provider is aware that authorization is required prior to every visit.
