Obtaining Pre-Authorization / Pre-Certification can be an extremely time-consuming process and is ultimately an extremely important part of successfully collecting from insurance companies.

HealthQuist believes that by providing this added service to our clients, we are able to help reduce their workloads, so they can focus on what is of absolute importance - providing the best possible patient care. The most cumbersome aspect of obtaining pre-authorizations is the amount of time that the office staff will spend on the phone obtaining authorization. Pre-Authorization for Pain Management Procedures
  • On the initial visit, the office will send us a form with the patient's insurance information and we will call the insurance to check eligibility and find out whether authorization is required as per their plan
  • If procedures are required, the provider's office staff will fax us the Pain Management Authorization form and we will obtain authorization for procedures as necessitated.
  • Any information that is required by the insurance company will be requested from the office staff, i.e. MRI Report, Medical Records, etc. and subsequently forwarded to the insurance company
  • In the case of worker's compensation and no-fault claims, we will follow the requirements as per the plan and ensure that the provider is aware that authorization is required prior to every visit.
